Our History

SolidCraft Boats, Inc. was founded in 1999 just south of Wilmington, Ohio, by a group of friends who recognized the need for more durable boats in the rental industry. Starting humbly in an old barn, the company quickly gained a reputation for building reliable and robust pontoon boats. By 2001, we had outgrown our original space and moved into a larger facility to keep up with the growing demand for our boats.

As the years passed, SolidCraft expanded its product line to include more commercial vessels, staying true to our commitment to quality and durability. In 2016, we made another leap forward, moving into an even larger facility to accommodate our growing operations and product development.

Today, we continue to innovate, recently venturing into the production of COI vessels alongside our mainline of pontoon boats, providing both recreational and commercial customers with the same dependable craftsmanship we’ve been known for since the beginning.
